Primary Education
EYFS-Year 6
Nursery & Reception (EYFS)
From letter recognition and phonics, to numeral formation and subitising, let us help your little learner find the fun in developing these key building blocks to learning.
Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2)
As learners engage with the more formal National Curriculum, it is vital that they do not lose that sense of wonder and play. Our range of interactive games; tools to consolidate prior learning and methods to introduce new, exciting concepts will help your budding scholar to blossom in their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
Key Stage 2 (Years 3 - 6)
These formative years will really prepare your child for the rigours of "big school", which is coming quicker than any of us would care to admit! Let us help to aid in a smooth transition by ensuring that they are fully ready with their literacy and numeracy skills. A firm bedrock of these core subjects will see them through the next phase of their school days!
11+, ISEB, SATs and Entrance Examinations
There is, often, no greater stress for children than the examinations at the end of their Key Stage. Whether your child is preparing to undertake the 11+, the ISEB tests, Key Stage 1 or 2 SATs or a school's Entrance Examination, we have the experience and resources to help thoroughly prepare your child.
This preparation is, of course, partly academic - giving our pupils the tools they need to tackle each component - but there is also a significant focus on building confidence and reducing stres
Small Group Tuition
Although we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, bespoke tuition to the individual learner, we have recently received several enquiries for tuition in small groups. If you would like siblings or friends to form a small group, please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you!
Home Education
Home Education really does require that bespoke touch. Over the years, we have worked with those who need a more structured approach; those who thrive with our ability to adapt to their interests; those who are working towards entering (or re-entering) mainstream education and with both new and experienced members of the Elective Home Education community.

Secondary and Adult Education
Year 7 to Upper Sixth & Adult Education
English
English is, arguably, the most important subject. Now assessed in subjects as unexpected as Mathematics and Science, we can help your child to develop a sound understanding of how clear communication is the key to achieving those higher grades.
Covering writing styles, textual analysis techniques and essay-writing techniques, we can offer a bespoke service to give your child the confidence they need to achieve.
Drama
From hints and tips for practical performance, to a deeper understanding of dramaturgy and the theories of prescribed practitioners, we can aid you in treading the boards and navigating the concepts taught at GCSE and A-level Drama.
With extensive experience in aiding students with Devising Logs, Working Notebooks and tutoring the key strategies for examination success, we can help you to set the stage for your own achievement.
Functional Skills (Entry Levels 1-3 and Levels 1 & 2)
'Going back to school' can seem very daunting, for an adult. But, by choosing to study for your Functional Skills tests, with us, you can relax! We understand that you have other commitments; that you are studying with a particular objective in mind and that life can get in the way. Working with adults, we are facilitators who offer flexibility and develop our 1:1 course around you, because there is no 'one size fits all' in life.
Home Education
For those in Home Education, aged 11-16, we offer a comprehensive, skills-based programme that enables our learners to thrive. From learning how to craft letters and blogs, to enhancing their vocabulary; from studying texts and poetry for the purposes of both understanding and developing a love of literature, to formal preparations for GCSE or IGCSE English, we have a wealth of experience and resources to help your child to succeed. We are so proud of one of our fantastic pupils, who we invited to take part in the Young Writers Annual Showcase 2022. At 11 years of age, this was their first foray into creative writing, and we are overjoyed to see that their work has been selected (out of over 5000 entries!) for publication!

Once again, Bespoke Educational Services is delighted to announce that our pupils and students have achieved a 100% pass rate at GCSE and A-level, this year! Not only that, but every child who took their SATs examinations achieved either Expected Standards or Greater Depth - bucking the trend of the current cohort. As one parent put it, "My children have not only made great progress, but also enjoy your relaxed and pleasant style of teaching. I am very appreciative."

One of our fantastic young people has attended a local Creative Writing Workshop, in their library, with author Nick Perring. Having been asked to write a story that starts sadly and end happily, our budding writer has created a gorgeous narrative arc. It is always so great to see this particular young person achieving their full potential. What a star!
